Yesterday I had the opportunity to present at a conference called, “Empowering a Future” for the non-profit I work with, Able SC. Our speakers for the day were well-known disability activists, Patrick and Rebecca Cokley. During the Q&A section, someone asked what’s the best way to approach disability awareness through social media? Mr. Cokley used posting individuals with disabilities that are related to Black History Month as an example.
