Give or take about 15 minutes ago, Christmas came to an end and in 5 more days, the holiday season will be over and the new year will begin. When I was younger, I used to love the holidays. Now that I’m older, it’s just not the same. They’re just another day on the calendar. What many people don’t know about me is that I am very family orientated. I love being around family, playing with the kids, eating good food, and just enjoying each other’s company. It just sucks how it’s not that easy to get those moments anymore right now. It’s all temporary though, because once I get right I’m doing a few Halloween decorations, Friendsgiving, Christmas decorations, ALL DATTT!!!!
In the meantime, I have to be blessed for what I do have and the people that are around me. Because I realize holiday seasons aren’t the same for many families due to serving our country, deaths, incarceration, being missing, etc. For the families that are going through those things, I commend you for pushing through. Continue to stay strong and prayerful.
