How does it feel to be such and such age? People often ask that when birthdays come around. For me, the feeling is blessed. If it wasn’t for God and some of the traits and people in my life that He has given me that has made me who I am, then I don’t believe I would have made it this long. It’s been told that as you get older, you start to forget your birthday or that its not that big of a deal if it’s celebrated or not. I disagree and I hope I don’t get like that. Every day that you’re able to wake up is a blessing, but to have the opportunity to see a whole full year is just something that many people nowadays don’t get. So big or small, celebrate. It can never hurt to let the world know how lucky they are to be blessed by your presenceΒ ππ
All jokes aside, my birthday is special to me because I share it with my own paternal grandmother. We are 50 years apart. However, since I was raised by my maternal grandparents, we weren’t able to celebrate like we could have. It wasn’t until 2015 that we saw each other (that I recall) on our birthday. Unfortunately, last year was our last year to celebrate. She died on December 21, 2016, and for that reason alone I have to celebrate for the two of us.
I have no complaints for the celebration to the start of my 22nd year into the world. Thank you for everyone who sent me birthday wishes and even celebrated with me. Here’s to year 22 πΎπ #riseofRosier π₯π #PositiveVibesOnly π€ #nEnD #364tilJordanYear #1YeartilGraduation ππ§π½π
